mediCAD for MAC users

Hectec GmbH of southern Germany has released MAC versions of its globally successful mediCAD pre-operative planning tool.
Available in 23 languages as a Special Package, customers can choose from:
• the complete package
• hip planning or knee planning (+ 1 one supplementary module of choice) biometry, osteotomy, coxometry, trauma, etc.

mediCAD MAC -
is the premier solution for orthopaedic surgeons working in conjunction with radiologists

The mediCAD system was developed by doctors for doctors
and offers numerous practical benefits:

• Access to all common planning methods
• Included on-site training accelerates the learning phase
• Your procedures are documented with legal compliance
• The system offers all available prostheses. The library currently contains more than 80 manufacturers with approximately 35,000 prostheses (approximately 400,000 templates). New prostheses can be quickly integrated into mediCAD MAC upon request.
• Twelve planning methods are available such as hip or knee selection, biometry, osteotomy I+II
• Supplementary modules coxometry, spinal column, trauma, shoulder, hallux valgus
• mediCAD MAC is certified according to the 93/42/EWC EN ISO 13485 directive and is approved as a medical product.
• mediCAD MAC is recommended by all major PACS manufacturers around the world.


The DICOM standard enables connection to all PACS systems.
