The knee endoprosthetic module is used to plan knee prosthetics. Any defective axis positions can be detected and corrected during planning. This enables pre-operative and post-operative evaluation of a force-transmission correction on the entire leg. The durability of the knee prosthesis can be significantly extended.

Corrections with and without consideration of the outer ligament lengths are possible.

mediCAD corrects the defective position automatically or through manual commands, depending on the desired outcome. It calculates the anticipated post-operative mechanical axes, the weight-bearing line, and all relevant angles.
